About me
Hi! I’m Julia Roeder, a freshman at Michigan State University and I am studying at James Madison College. I attended Grosse Pointe South High School and was the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the student paper, The Tower. Journalism has brought me many opportunities and experiences I would have previously only dreamed of. Over my four-year journalism career, I have had the chance to be in rooms with fellow journalists who not only inspire me but whom I aspire to be like.

Now, with my portfolio, you may wonder, does this student do anything but write? When I’m not typing on my computer, you can find me hanging out with friends, playing my guitar, reading, at the gym or traveling with my family.
