About me

Hi! I’m Julia Roeder, a freshman at Michigan State University and I am studying at James Madison College. I attended  Grosse Pointe South High School and was the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the student paper, The Tower. Journalism has brought me many opportunities and experiences I would have previously only dreamed of. Over my  four-year journalism career, I have had the chance to be in rooms with fellow journalists who not only inspire me but whom I aspire to be like.

Now, with my portfolio, you may wonder, does this student do anything but write? And to that, I say yes! When I’m not typing on my computer, you can find me hanging out with friends, playing my guitar, reading, at the gym or traveling with my family.
